You’ll no doubt be aware of significant media discussion recently about consent education, following a petition which brought forth an avalanche of testimony from girls and young women of experiences where they were subjected to unwanted sexual contact, disrespect and harassment from boys and young men in both the schools they attended and ones nearby.
The issue of consent it important, and we know from our work that it is by no means the only form of abuse young women may experience.
